Denver Broncos wide receiver John Bolton’s return to the field after a knee injury in 2015 made the Broncos one of the NFL’s elite teams for the second consecutive year, but his return to health has been a slow process.
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak has said Bolton, 31, is on track to be ready for the start of training camp next week.
Bolton said he has had a “real good start” and said he expects to be able to play by the start, according to the Denver Post.
Boltton has started 15 games for the Broncos this season.
He has seven touchdown catches and 10 catches for 103 yards.
Bolan missed all but one game of last season because of a torn meniscus.
He played in two games this season, catching three passes for 41 yards.
