The 2016 Hugo Awards are taking place on Thursday, April 16.

The Hugo Awards will be awarded to the best novel in the category “Best Dramatic Presentation”, the finalist is nominated, the winner is announced on April 18 and the winners are announced on May 1.

Read more: Best Novel: The Last Man, by John Green The Hugo awards are named after the Hugos that are given to the nominees and the finalists of each of the four major categories in fiction, poetry, non-fiction and children’s literature.
The 2016 Hugo nominees include The Last Man by John Grisham, The Green Man by Charles Dickens, A Wrinkle in Time by JK Rowling, Trouble in Paradise by Joseph Conrad, Wuthering Heights by Cormac McCarthy, Lionheart by J.K. Rowling, The Last Tycoon by Joseph Heller and The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood.
The winner of the award will be announced on June 7 at the annual Hugos at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The nominees will be revealed at the 2017 Hugos and their winners will be officially announced on the day of the awards ceremony on May 15.
